icon_info.gif Your destination...

The Freerideparadise Disentis and our homebase Catrina Resort Hotel are popular with our regular customers.
Ingenious downhills between Oberalpstock and Gemsstock in Andermatt welcome a comparatively small crowd of freeriders. The cosy hotel with its friendly staff, the relaxed atmosphere in the whole area, marvellous hillsides and peculiar après-ski make freeriding in Disentis so special.
Disentis, located at the upper rhine valley, is one of the most secret spots of the nothern alps!
A tiny skiresort with unbelievable freeride possibilities!
With short hikes you can reach runs with almost 1800m vertical drop - directly back to the gondola or into the other valleys!

  Accommodation

Hotel Catrina 3*, Disentis

Our "3* Ski-in-Ski-out basecamp" directly beside the piste...

WOW! If you know Disentis, you won't believe your eyes - in winter 2018-19 our hotel complex was completely redesigned and Disentis changed (only visually) quite a lot.
All rooms in the hotel are big and newly furnished. On the opposite site in the Cartina-Resort complex you can find the amazing wellness and spa area with Sauna, steam bath and a beautiful swimming pool, which is free ouf charge for our Sport65 guests.
Since 10 years the Catrina is our homebase in Disentis and it is only a stone's throw away from the lift into the ski area Disentis 3000.
In front of the hotel you can find free parking lots for your cars.

Some of the big advantages of the Catrina Hotel compared to other hotels in Disentis are as follows:
We are walking straight to the gondola in the morning, we do not need a car or a coach - and in case we come back from a great run with the train from Sedrun, we only have to walk ca. 150-200m back to our hotel. The famous "Nangijala" is only 3-4 minutes by foot as well...
The hotel lobby is perfect to chill out a bit and the hotel bar is always good for a beer or two...
In short: The Catrina is an amazing hotel and there are no better places in the norther alps so close to the best freeride runs - in the afternoon we can ski straight to our ski depot in the basement of the hotel.

 Skiresorts

Disentis - Freerideparadies

Sorry, we did not translate the skiresorts facts into English.
But you may rest assured that this resort is a fabulous freeride spot!
At the moment one of the secret spots in the alps...
Endless runs and a bunch full of off-piste possibilties are waiting for all our freeride levels.

Feel free to contact us for further information or visit the website of the resort...

Sedrun-Oberalp-Andermatt

Sorry, we did not translate the skiresorts facts into English.
But you may rest assured that this resort is a fabulous freeride spot!
At the moment one of the secret spots in the alps...
Endless runs and a bunch full of off-piste possibilties are waiting for all our freeride levels.

Feel free to contact us for further information or visit the website of the resort...

Daten / Fakten / Wissenswertes...

  • Gesamt Pistenkilometer: ca. 100 km präparierte Pisten
  • Anzahl der Aufstiegsanlagen / Lifte: 18 + Rätische Bahn (im Liftticket inklusive!)
  • Schneesicherheit: Ein Freeride Mekka! Warum wohl?
