Covid-19 Information and rules

Sport65 #travelsafe concept:

We want to get you to the snow as safely and comfortably as possible!
In the interest of many of our guests and staff, the 2G rule will apply from November for our trips with bus travel or the Sport65 shuttle. This means that you need:

  • either full Covid 19 vaccine protection or
  • a valid proof of recovery

The Sport65 transfer trip will take place under "2 G" regulation, according to the then applicable regulations and hygiene rules for Covid-19, in the Sport65 shuttle or coach.
Of course, this also includes a possible elimination of the obligation to wear a mask at the seat in the bus (which is currently expected under the "2 G" regulation), which is certainly more pleasant...
But: If we are not allowed (or do not want) to use the Sport65 shuttle or coach due to the Covid-19 regulations, we will of course inform you accordingly in advance.
In this case, you do not necessarily have to give up your days in the snow, but can cancel free of charge or change your booking to your own journey.
The difference in the price of the trip will of course be refunded!
You will always receive updates from us in advance - or simply ask us ((::
Exception: Children of compulsory school age on our Sport65 KidsClub trips - these are tested according to the regulations of the schools or the destination countries. For this, bookings of Sport65 KidsClub trips will receive separate information and updates.

Concept before and during the trip:

  • Application of the general hygiene rules such as distance, mask, disinfection, etc.
  • Bei der Anreise mit Sport65 Transferbussen kontrollieren wir die 2 G Nachweise
  • Please take a self-test for Covid-19 at your own responsibility before arrival (no matter if vaccinated, recovered, etc.)
  • On the evening before the return journey, we will provide each guest with a self-test which you can take on your own responsibility
  • At the Kids Club, the children are tested every 48 hours by our certified school testers on site

With this concept we can guarantee the greatest possible safety on our trips for you, our team and our partner hotels.

Special regulation season 2021-22 (Corona #staysafe regulation!)

Should your Sport65 trip booked under our "2 G" regulation (vaccinated or proof of recovery) not be allowed to take place due to restrictions (travel warnings or quarantine obligation of the German Foreign Office, or variant areas of the RKI) by COVID-19, even under "2 G" regulation, the already paid travel price or deposits will be fully refunded by us.
Of course, every payment made by you is also covered by the travel insurance certificate in accordance with §651k BGB (German Civil Code) with tourVers / Hanse Merkur Versicherung, which you will receive directly with your booking.
Unfortunately, concluded insurances are not refundable.

Sport65 - with "2 G" in the snow:

We are really looking forward to the coming winter with you. But as you know:
We can't do without regulations at the moment, and this is especially true for travel events.
Therefore, in the interest of many of our guests and staff, the 2G rule will apply from November for our trips with bus travel or the Sport65 shuttle. This means that you need:

  • either full Covid 19 vaccine protection or
  • a valid proof of recovery

Exception: Children of compulsory school age on our Sport65 KidsClub trips - these are tested according to the regulations of the schools or the destination countries. For this, bookings of Sport65 KidsClub trips will receive separate information and updates.

Why this regulation especially for bus tours?
It is certainly not our intention to patronise anyone.
We respect every personal decision and the freedom of every individual.
However, our duty of care towards our guests and staff as well as the economic situation as a travel company force us to take this step.
We hope that this regulation will minimise the enormous economic risk, which affects us as a small company.

As of today, this is the only way we can carry out and plan or book our trips.
Last but not least, it also gives us the greatest chance of finally returning to a new normality: In other words, to give our guests, our staff, bus companies, mountain guides, partner hotels and ourselves a certain degree of planning security again.
Because due to the current situation, in the event of a sudden change in the regulations (e.g. in Austria from now 3G with higher incidence to 2G) there will be no possibility for us to cancel bookings free of charge if only partial services are cancelled.
Of course, we want to do justice to the special responsibility caused by the current situation: All our guests should feel well on our tours and come home healthy - so actually as always ((::
And also the Sport65 team on site and the staff in our hotels should be able to work as safely as possible.

On our trips, our and the hotels' and ski resorts' safety and hygiene concepts ensure that the risk of contracting Covid-19 is reduced.
However, there is no such thing as one hundred percent safety - this is just as true when travelling as it is at home.

However, since we do not want to exclude anyone and know that there are good reasons for some people not to be vaccinated, we still offer the possibility to be a "tested" person on our trips and freeride camps:

  • You can travel to our destination yourself and then check in at the hotel according to the rules applicable in the respective destination country or fulfil the test requirements that are relevant at the time of travel.
  • Only with your own vehicle can you be sure of getting to test centres, keeping to the required test distances and being able to react flexibly on site.
  • We expressly point out that:
If, due to incidents, Corona regulations suddenly change in the course of the winter season (e.g. Austria switches from 3G to 2G, as provided for in their regulations), we will in any case apply cancellation regulations in accordance with §7 of our General Terms and Conditions.
Arrangements made by third parties (e.g. access to restaurants, purchase of ski passes etc.) are not the responsibility of Sport65.

Those who know us know that rigid rules and regulations are not part of our corporate philosophy.
But: For travellers who have not been fully vaccinated, there are increasingly different entry regulations and special rules and requirements in various destination countries of our travel programme, so that some service components of our travel programmes cannot be fulfilled or used.

Various studies show, however, that the probability of a severe course of disease is reduced to a minimum by an appropriate vaccination. We would like to offer every participant this additional piece of security.

In addition, complete vaccination protection also reduces the risk of infecting others with the Corona virus. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) writes: "From a public health perspective, the risk of virus transmission through vaccination appears to be reduced to the extent that vaccinated persons no longer play a significant role in the epidemiology of the disease". (Source RKI).
This means that you not only protect yourself, but also your fellow travellers, the Sport65 team on your trip and the local people.

If the epidemiological situation should ease in the course of 2022, we reserve the right to adjust our decision.

We hope for your understanding for this regulation and are looking forward to finally being with you again with "2 G in the snow".

Your Sport65 Team from the „Headquarter of Fun“…
