The Deacon 7.2 from Völkl is a versatile all-mountain ski that is particularly suitable for beginners through to advanced skiers who are looking for a forgiving yet stable ski with good grip on ice.
With a tip width of 123 mm, it offers sufficient flotation in the snow - even when the piste has been rutted or when powder snow has piled up.
The center width of 72 mm ensures stability and control in a variety of conditions.
The ski has a tip rocker that makes turning easier and enables a playful skiing experience.
With its sandwich construction, the continuous sidewall and the light tip rocker, it shines on long radii with high smoothness and also masters short radii with high agility.
The carbon fibers applied using Völkl's exclusive Tailored Fiber Placement (TFP for short) allow optimal control of the turn behavior. The strength and orientation of the fibers define the required force and energy build-up exactly where it is needed. The agile blade retraction is particularly positive.
This means that the ski begins to guide in a measured and controlled manner directly at turn initiation, depending on the edge input. What's more, this construction enables a lower weight without any loss of stability.
The lightweight V-Motion binding system provides optimum support and guarantees maximum safety, naturally also for boots with the new GripWalk soles.
