The Hero Carve was developed for passionate shortturn fans who want to be on a somewhat "relaxed" slalom ski and also want to slide or drift a turn at the end of the ski day.
But: still love a ski with which you can carve brilliantly even in hard conditions or on top-prepared piste!
The Hero CARVE has exactly the same waist as the legendary HERO ST Ti, but the titanal has been replaced by glass fibre/carbon in order to be able to steer into the turn even more smoothly and also to steer out more easily at the end of the turn, when the technique is perhaps not 100% perfect.
This is particularly beneficial for lighter skiers.
The proven Line Control Technology meets a narrower centre width of 68 mm and a short curve sidecut for optimised edge-to-edge behaviour in terms of speed, precision and power. LCT eliminates counter-bending for maximum stability and an optimised run through the turn for complete line control.
The LCT construction brings power and energy to the piste in all situations and in all snow conditions.

- Oversized Sidecut: The Oversized sidecut combines the very deep carving ski sidecut with current underfoot widths. The width at tip and tail delivers effective grip as well as power and precision. The underfoot width gives increased control and better hold in turns. Oversize sidecuts offer maneuverability, power and control
- LCT Technology: An evolution of World Cup racing innovation, Rossignol's patented new LCT construction harnesses pure power and energy, delivering fluid stability in all conditions. Featuring a central "power rail" integrated from tip-to-tail, LCT eliminates counter-flexing of the ski to ensure consistently smooth stability and dynamic control of your line.
- On Trail Rocker: Adapted rocker at tip only. For easier pivoting on flat skis with a smooth and forgiving feel in the turns. The rise is designed so that once the ski is on its edge, the rocker section resumes contact with the snow, so then the ski works in the turn providing full-length edge contact.
- Woodcore: PEFC-Beechwoodcore
