The Kästle TX 87 is an excellent high-end touring ski that has been thought out down to the last detail. Its versatility makes it ideal for your daily ski tour or your way across the Alps, in Lyngen or wherever.
With its new carbon fibre construction and PROGRESSIVE RISE technology, the TX87 impresses with unrivalled downhill performance at minimal weight. As an additional highlight, the new, luminous HOLLOWTECH 3.0 offers more safety for popular night touring.
On the one hand, there is its clear weight advantage, which you will feel especially on long, exhausting ascents. On the other hand, the combination of cap construction and sidewall, as well as carbon and glass fibre reinforcements, ensures terrific downhill performance, responsiveness and smoothness.
Connoisseurs like the Austrian mountain and ski guides reach for it when they want to ascend in a relaxed manner and want a manoeuvrable ski with the highest performance on the descent. Ideal for changing conditions - whether during the day or throughout the season.

About Kästle TX Serie... The original...
The original TX series from Kästle is aimed at touring skiers who are looking for a light touring ski that is nevertheless easy to handle. A ski with which you can also enjoy the big powder days on the lift and get pure downhill fun.
The high-quality carbon-fibreglass combination of the TX series, which makes the difference to the cheaper "TX-UP" series, makes the ski extremely light, gives excellent rebound and makes the ski more sporty than the "downgraded" "UP" version - which is why you will only find the top series on our famous "Wall of Fame" ski wall - because the higher quality makes up for the price difference in any case!

With the shovel and tail design, we can refine the aggressiveness of our skis. The HOOK FREE SHOVEL is a longer shovel that is combined with Progressive Rise, which makes the ski easy to stear and floatable. With this design the contact point to the snow is moved toward the center of the ski, thus ensuring a more forgiving and playful performance. The HOOK FREE TAIL is often combined with Dual Rise and a longer tail, with the contact point being moved toward the center of the ski. The result is a forgiving, playful performance when exiting a turn. - Camber: With LOW CAMBER of the TX series, the ski center is slightly elevated and the contact points are moved toward the ski center.
The effective edge is consequentially less, and the ski is more playful and forgiving. - Woodcore: Paulowinia wood core.
Each Kästle ski is built with the finest wood core, manufactured with precision to one-tenth of a millimeter. This allows us to control the weight, responsiveness and dampening characteristics of the ski, resulting in a high-quality, durable product. The wood type, or combination of different woods, is individually catered to each model line, based on the ski‘s intended application.
The TX series is built with a lightweight Paulowina woodcore - super light but great performance guaranteed! - Semi Cap Sandwich Sidewall Construction: Kästle adapts their Sandwich-Sidewall Construction from alpine racing and consider this technology a distinguishing feature of all of our models. This design gives every Kästle Ski optimal flex and torsional rigidity, creating sensitive and direct power transmission and ensuring total control, even at high speed. For the TX series the SEMI-CAP SANDWICH-SIDEWALL CONSTRUCTION is used, in which the top sheet protects the upper edge of the ski.
- Elliptical Radius: Each model is designed to have its own carving characteristics, which is based on the ski’s intended application, by adjusting the radius along the waist of the ski. The shape of the Elliptical Radius determines how quickly and aggressively the ski enters and exits a turn.
- Hollowtech LUMINIOUS: The new, revolutionized HOLLOWTECH 3.0 has a two-tier construction: a new outer ring cuts out even more material and therefore even more weight. The size of the HOLLOWTECH is always precisely matched to the shovel of each particular model - for performance that's truly unbeatable.
Featured exclusively in the TX range, the HOLLOWTECH is highlighted with a luminous material, creating a glow-in-the-dark effect.
