Full performance with an ultra light weight of 990gr - unprecedented power guaranteed!
The lightweight Zero G LT 80 ski is specially designed to meet the needs of demanding lightweight ski tourers.
Ambitious ski tourers who like to climb a lot of altitude quickly need a lightweight ski that they can rely on not only uphill. Whether it's on crushed snow, broken snow or in powder, the ski has to provide full grip and safety even in demanding conditions and in technically difficult terrain.
And that's exactly what the ZeroG LT 80 does!
We had the first prototypes under our feet in winter 21/22 and were completely thrilled - a ski weighing less than 1 kg with such Torion stiffness and homogeneous flex is almost unbelievable!
The Zero G LT 80 has been developed for a wide range of snow and piste conditions. The new design incorporates an early rise shovel to provide versatility in mixed snow conditions and a flat tail that offers safety in gullies and maximum stability, yet is reliable in all different touring conditions. The sidecut radius has been fine-tuned for playful handling.
To ensure the extreme lightness demanded by demanding light tourers, carbon is a key element. To ensure that the new Zero G LT 80, at 990 grams (size 171 cm), falls into the under-one-kilogram category, the research and development team at Blizzard has used the technology in a particularly refined way. The Carbon Drive LT chassis made of unidirectional carbon fibre has been designed to offer perfect torsional strength and at the same time a forgiving flex for downhill performance. In addition, the binding attachment points are reinforced with edge-to-edge carbon fibre inserts.
This provides unparalleled grip and edge hold for maximum stability and confidence even on icy snow and creates optimal power transmission while improving binding hold and safety.
The result: a versatile touring ski with an 80 millimetre centre width that is never too stiff or too strong, but works reliably in all touring conditions.
The Secret... Blizzard ZeroG Trueblend Tour Woodcore...
The secret behind the superior downhill performance of the new Zero G LT 80 compared to the market standard is the perfectly balanced flex of the new Trueblend Tour Woodcore. Two different types of wood, Paulownia and Poplar, are fused into a single woodcore. The different density stringers are carefully positioned by number and length to create two different density ranges to precisely control the flex.
"We use a special blend of woods to achieve the perfect flex for light touring. Paulownia offers an unbeatable strength-to-weight ratio, while poplar brings high energy performance," says Carlo Sammartini, Blizzard development manager. "The Trueblend Tour Woodcore has a specific design with two different density ranges: The stronger middle, which guarantees maximum grip, edge hold and stability underfoot. A softer tip to handle all snow conditions with the same level of performance, and a supportive tail for more confidence on the descent."

- Rocker: Gentle Rocker-Camber-Rocker construction
Ski profile with a rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases floatation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow in any case.
Blizzard ZeroG Trueblend Tour Woodcore...This new construction is based on the patented wood cores of the Brahma/Bonafide/Black Pearl skis and the Trueblend core of the Thunderbirds - only here trimmed to lightweight construction (poplar, beech and paulownia in a patented lamination - stable and super nippy (thanks to carbon layer), extremely manoeuvrable due to tip-tail rocker with softer torsion to enjoy maximum powder performance.
The secret behind the superior downhill performance of the new Zero G LT 80 compared to the market standard is the perfectly balanced flex of the new Trueblend Tour Woodcore. Two different wood species, Paulownia and Poplar, are fused into a single woodcore. This wood core is the key to ultimate skiing happiness: because it brings the ski balanced dynamics and a harmonious feel in all terrain and snow types, and in combination with the carbon frame, insane torsional stiffness at an incredible weight. You simply have to try it out!
The Story
Blizzard ZeroG LT 80 24/25
Blizzard, Tecnica and Nordica at the Sport65 "Headquarter of Fun"...
When companies in winter sports exist for over 75 years, it is something special!
So special, of course, that they should not be missing from the Sport65 range.
What can you say about these legendary brands? Every skier knows the three labels, almost every ski enthusiast has certainly had a Nordica or Tecnica boot or a Blizzard ski under or on their feet at some point in their life.
And for some years now: These brands are experiencing a comeback that is unparalleled!
Blizzard is currently number 1 on the North American market.
Holger has been working as a representative and team rider for Blizzard and Tecnica for years. He has been involved in the "realignment" of the brands from the very beginning.
Tecnica and Nordica ski boots are hard to beat in terms of fit, quality and performance - especially in the freeride sector with boots with high flex and pin inserts.
Why do you think almost all guides and ski instructors at Sport65 and freerideschule.de like Tecnica or Nordica soles?
The Blizzard and Nordica skis from Mittersill are fantastic in all different areas of use, from race to high performance on-piste to freeride and freetouring - logically they are in great numbers on our famous "Wall of Fame" in the Sport65 shop.
Top products are made exclusively from top materials, which makes these products a little more expensive, but durable and of insane quality.
Pure riding fun is guaranteed.
Of course, you will also find many Nordica and Blizzard skis as well as Tecnica boots in the Sport65 rental & test centre, just come to our shop in Weinheim...
This product is "made in Europe"!
Always a main focus in the Sport65 range!
The Blizzard and Nordica skis are developed, tested and produced in their own factory in Mittersill, almost directly at the lift - as a close partner, we at Sport65 are often involved from the very beginning.
Tecnica and Nordica boots are developed in Giavera, at the foot of the Dolomites, by real skiers - and are also produced there.
All liners: hand-sewn in Italy - quality you can feel!
