Full ski performance with less than 1000 grams - is that possible?
Yes! Tecnica's typical overlapping shell construction for high-performance ski boots combines the support of a high-end ski boot with the walking function of a touring ski boot in the Zero G Peak.
As soon as the shell is fixed by means of a buckle and lacing system, the foot is firmly enclosed and offers uncompromising downhill performance.
And that it works: The Sport65 team put the boot through its paces where it belongs: In the SNOW!

The T-HIKE DOUBLE BLOCKING MECHANISM makes incredible performance possible: T-Hike is an even lighter version of the proven Zero G Tour Double Blocking mechanism. It convinces with a strong, progressive flex and excellent lateral power transmission. The shell is connected to the cuff at two separate points and guarantees unrestricted, comfortable walking in walk mode.
In addition, the integrated spoiler gives the shoe its superior stability. Thanks to a new generation of Tecnica shell material with carbon co-injection, the Zero G Peak shows itself to be stable, strong and yet supple when skiing.
The Power Frame construction increases the stiffness and torsional strength of the boot and allows the thickness of the shell material to be reduced.
The TECNICA "magic system" C.A.S...
The thermoformable Zero G C.A.S. liners are lightweight and anatomically shaped for high wearing comfort and stable heel hold. The special material in the heel area is positioned to reliably hold the heel in place.
If necessary, the C.A.S. material can be ground and thermoformed for further adjustment.
The newly developed flex structure on the back of the inner shoe guarantees even more comfortable walking. Furthermore, the Recco reflector technology provides additional safety. The wearing comfort benefits from the waterproof and breathable membrane in the inner boot, which keeps the feet warm and dry throughout the ski touring day.
The C.A.S. structure on the shell reduces surface tension and thus facilitates the process of heat adaptation.
This allows us to adapt the boot perfectly to any problem areas.
The construction of the shell and cuff support comfortable walking. Added to this are the flatter profiles of the sole in the area of the toes and heel. This not only makes walking easier, but also allows you to easily attach crampons in difficult ascent passages - all in all: a performance you've never had on your feet before - bet?

How does it work?

"Double Blocking Mobility Cuff": The new Mobility Cuff System offers a double blocking fastening system to increase performance, stability and safety 75° touring range of motion for natural, effortless movement - Solepads: Full rubber VIBRAM soles
Thanks to the partnership with Vibram, Tecnica skiboots feature Vibram soles characterized by a dual-density rubber compound. Yellow harder rubber in those areas closed to the binding, in order to provide with a higher power transmission while skiing. The black areas identify a softer compound that allows an increased grip of the sole for more security when the boot is in walk mode. - Shell: C.A.S. Co-Injected shell with carbon fibres.
The shell offers an ultra light weight for the ascent and provides the necessary safety on the descent despite the low weight. The shell is anatomically pre-shaped according to the shape of the foot. Therefore, the fit is already very good at the time of purchase. The C.A.S. material can be thermoformed very well and permanently adjusted. This work is no problem for us at Sport65 Boot LAB and is used so that your shoe fits you perfectly! - Cuff: Co-Injected cuff with a Power Frame Construction that is absolutely tight with a fixed, flexible gaiter

RECYCLE YOUR BOOTS - The Tecnica Group with Tecnica & Nordica recycles your old ski boots!
Tecnica Group is contributing to a greener, better future with its new "Recycle Your Boots" project.
Since even small contributions have an impact, we at Sport65 are of course taking part in this project.
Plastic waste is one of the biggest problems / challenges of our time.
However, plastic per se is not a bad material. Since Tecnica's and Nordica´s ski boots are mainly made of plastic, the company wants to take action and do its part to improve the situation and give a second life to a ski boot that really can't be used anymore!
And not just recycle the plastic - the entire boot is dismantled, the aluminium parts are recycled and after shredding, filling material is obtained from the inner shoes.
The recycled plastic is used to make parts of the new ski boots and other plastic objects.
How does it work?
- You buy a new ski boot at Sport65.
- You hand in your "old" ski boot to us for recycling (Exception touring shoes with fixed Vibram sole!)
- We at Sport65 collect the old ski boots until they are worth transporting
- The old boots are collected from us by FERCAM
- The company LaPrima Plastics disassembles the ski boots into their individual parts.
- The recovered secondary raw materials are reprocessed
- The University of Padua supervises the whole process
Tecnica's "Recycle Your Boots" project was accepted and financially supported by the LIFE programme, a support programme for environmental, nature and climate protection.
