 Productsdescription

Tecnica Cochise 120 DYN GW T-Ride 22/23

THE BEST! The Cochise, the number 1 hybrid skiboot on the whole ski market!

Our Premium partners support the Sport65 guides on our sport trips!

This product is used and tested at the Sport65 Sports Trips by our guides.
We guarantee great function and high quality workmanship.
You can test many of those products during our sports trips in winter and summer!

The Cochise can definitely be called the benchmark among hybrid boots. So far: unmatched by any competitor.
The boot fits almost perfectly right out of the box - but thanks to the CAS shell, it can be adjusted 100% in the difficult areas at our Sport65 Boot LAB.
Here, the balance between lightweight and performance, freeride/touring and piste has been achieved.
Ski touring in the morning, switching to the race ski at lunchtime - here you don't have to change boots and sacrifice zero performance!

Super performance, stiff and simply a mega fit thanks to the CAS outer and inner boot.
The walk mechanism, the new T-Ride system is fully integrated into the boot construction. The firm connection of the shaft end with the shell offers a perfect combination of efficiency on the ascent and performance on the descent.
At approx. 1750 grams, the boot is of course not as light as a pure touring boot - but for freeride tours: still the non-plus-ultra on the ski boot market.

Natural fit from the factory and know-how of the Sport65 Boot LAB = fitting performance like never before!
Buckles open, feet in, buckles closed, fits - and that with an off-the-shelf ski boot?
Not possible?
We say: it is!
With the C.A.S. System on the liner as well as in the high-quality shell, the fit experts from Northern Italy deliver a ski boot to our shop that is modelled on the natural, anatomical shape of the human foot.
Heel hold and supported arch support are the keywords here. If the heel sits firmly in the boot, rubbing and pressure points are minimised from the beginning. If the arch of the foot rests on an adapted footbed, sole burn or numb toes are a thing of the past.
This is where we come in: thanks to the wide range of options that the Tecnica C.A.S. shell and the C.A.S. liner offer us as bootfitters, we can offer you a ski boot that fits your foot like never before.
We can eliminate problem areas and you will feel the full performance that this boot can offer you - provided you buy from a specialist such as Sport65... because everything cannot be offered off the shelf - and that is exactly why we exist...

Buying ski boots is a matter of trust! We sell more than 1000 pairs of ski boots per season and prove to our customers again and again that they can rely on us.
In the "Headquarter of Fun", the Sport65 store in Weinheim, we have a huge selection of ski boots all year round.
You can come to us with an appointment (Tuesdays for private shopping) or simply without an appointment.
Time for you: We always take the time!
Benefit from our boot fit guarantee and the bootfitting know-how of our "Sport65 Boot LAB"!

Ski boot purchase at Sport65: Your way to the individually perfect ski boot - guaranteed!

  • Tecnica RECYCLE YOUR BOOT programme
Haven't heard of it yet? Then click on "The Story" - by buying a new Tecnica ski boot you can give your old boot a second life instead of just throwing it away...
    How does it work?
    See "The Story"...
  • Hike/Walk Mode: Yes, with 50° range of motion
The T-Ride system is fully integrated into the boot design. It’s a solid cuff-to-shell connection which delivers the perfect combination between downhill performance and uphill hiking ability.
The T-Ride longer lever arm guarantees a quicker edge to edge transition, increased lateral power and stability.
The way the T-Ride is designed makes it easy and intuitive, you will always be sure whether is on ski or hiking mode.?
  • Solepads: ISO 23223 GripWalk soles pre-mounted - optional: interchangeable ISO 5355 Alpine soles or ZeroG touring soles (possible with slight conversion).
The Cochise T-Ride fits Alpine, Touring or GripWalk sole plates - so you can optimise the boot exactly the way you want it!
  • Arch Grip support: Toe and heel Vibram® rubbered soles are connected by the rubber Arch Grip that delivers more versatility in the daily usage.
It supplies more grip on mountain terrain, on metal ladders, on snowmobiles, and so on.
  • Shell: C.A.S. Shell construction - Bi-Material: Polyether/Polyether
The C.A.S. shell has an anatomical shape that matches the foot shape. This allows for a better out-of-the-box fit. The dimples on the shell reduce surface tension and facilitate the thermo customization process, making boot fitters’ life easier. The shell materials allow better and longer retainment of the customized shape.
  • Liner: C.A.S. liner for perfect fittingC.A.S. is a groundbreaking innovation in ski boots in terms of fit and individual adjustment. The liners are anatomically shaped and guarantee optimum comfort as well as the best heel hold. They are modelled after the foot on the inside, while the outside is perfectly matched to the shell. The material made of microcells in two densities is durable and easily customisable. C.A.S liners tend to deform less and maintain the fit longer.
The C.A.S. liner of the Cochise is particularly lightweight and precisely modelled on the anatomical shape of the foot, ensuring maximum comfort and an optimum heel hold are guaranteed. The liner is made of dual-density microcell material that is durable and easy to adjust. For a perfect fit, the C.A.S. liner can be thermoformed, pressed out and ground to fit the shape of the foot even more precisely. The new folding construction at the back of the liner makes walking easier.
Of course, you can get this adjustment done professionally at our Sport65 Boot LAB - because this is the only way you will feel the 100% performance of the boot!
  • Asymetrical Power Transmission: The inside of the boot is made with thicker plastic to increase support where needed.
This provides more lateral power transmission and increased edge grip.
  • 45mm Booster Strap with velcro closure
  • 4 micro alu buckles
  • Quick Instep: The instep material is softer, making stepping in and out easy and avoiding unnecessary pain, especially at low temperatures. It provides also more walkability to the front.
  • Low Tech Dynafit system ISO 9523 soleblocks with DIN norm

 The Story

Tecnica Cochise 120 DYN GW T-Ride 22/23

icon_info.gif RECYCLE YOUR BOOTS - The Tecnica Group with Tecnica & Nordica recycles your old ski boots!

Tecnica Group is contributing to a greener, better future with its new "Recycle Your Boots" project.
Since even small contributions have an impact, we at Sport65 are of course taking part in this project.
Plastic waste is one of the biggest problems / challenges of our time.
However, plastic per se is not a bad material. Since Tecnica's and Nordica´s ski boots are mainly made of plastic, the company wants to take action and do its part to improve the situation and give a second life to a ski boot that really can't be used anymore!
And not just recycle the plastic - the entire boot is dismantled, the aluminium parts are recycled and after shredding, filling material is obtained from the inner shoes.
The recycled plastic is used to make parts of the new ski boots and other plastic objects.

How does it work?

  • You buy a new ski boot at Sport65.
  • You hand in your "old" ski boot to us for recycling (Exception touring shoes with fixed Vibram sole!)
  • We at Sport65 collect the old ski boots until they are worth transporting
  • The old boots are collected from us by FERCAM
  • The company LaPrima Plastics disassembles the ski boots into their individual parts.
  • The recovered secondary raw materials are reprocessed
  • The University of Padua supervises the whole process

Tecnica's "Recycle Your Boots" project was accepted and financially supported by the LIFE programme, a support programme for environmental, nature and climate protection.
