Maximum power transmission, precision, and control!

The SPX 15 ROCKERACE is an elite-level, competition race binding specially designed for use with the LOOK R22 race plates (WC or race version) on race skis.
Here in the limited Van Deer design - no less than Marcel Hirscher himself is totally convinced of the LOOK bindings and for this reason: the system binding is the Look binding on the Van Deer skis!
The ROCKERACE concept is based on the latest prototypes of World Cup skiers who use Look bindings.
Thanks to the shorter mounting zone and the partially sprung heel section, the ski can be controlled with even more flex and steered with maximum precision: POWER IS NOTHING WITHOUT CONTROL!
The strongest connection between binding and boot and the most elastic flex on the market, offers direct power transmission, precision and control with maximum shock absorption to avoid false releases.
The short mounting area and partially sprung heel section provide improved ski flex with more precision and control.

Look's SPX binding series are competition-oriented race bindings with a release value of 10 to 18.
The new SPX heel piece, combined with the reinforced Full Drive toe, delivers the strongest boot-to-binding connection for maximum power transfer, precision and control.
Equipped with the longest elastic travel on the market today, the SPX bindings offer maximum shock absorption to prevent unintentional premature opening of the binding and ensure reliable and trustworthy alpine performance.
With significant weight reduction, reduced flex angle for a more natural and neutral upright stance, and improved entry and exit function, the LOOK SPX guarantees a more fatigue-free, user-friendly performance.

icon_info.gif LOOK bindings with the LOOK specific 3D release system of the Full Drive toe part in all models help to avoid knee injuries, especially at your cruciate ligament (proven in many tests!) because they release also in case of a fall backwards.

Note: Binding prices in conjunction with skisets count only in combination with the ski and are including mounting and pre-adjustment.
Skisets with bindings are only pre-assembled and not adjusted according IAS rules.
The correct adjustment must be checked in a shop with your original skiboots.

  • FULL ACTION TOE PIECE: With 45mm Elastic Travel and a multi-directional release of 180 degrees, the FULL ACTION toe piece offers the best retention and release on the market as well as more connection strength (ski boot/binding contact) for maximum power transmission.
  • SHORT MOUNTING ZONE: The shortened mounting zone reduces swing weight, increases reactivity and provides a deeper, rounder and more consistent ski flex.
  • MULTI DIRECTIONNAL RELEASE: LOOK is the only binding manufacturer to develop a completely mechanical reverse release that works independently of the heel piece - for the most effective MULTIDIRECTIONNAL 180 GRADE RELEASE in the fall.
