Studies show that knee injuries and especially cruciate ligament injuries account for one third of all injuries while skiing. In over 70% of cases, the cause of the accident is a backward spinning fall. The "PROTECTOR" ski binding reduces or mitigates serious, frequent and, above all, serious injuries in the knee and cruciate ligament area, which is the main area affected. This is made possible by the Full Heel Release (FHR) technology developed by TYROLIA, a combination of horizontal and vertical heel release.

The new Protector Attack 13 MN binding also offers Full Heel Release (FHR) technology in the Attack series. The innovative FHR technology enables an intelligent 180° release, both horizontally and vertically. This new technology can reduce release forces in forward and especially backward spins, resulting in a lower risk of suffering a knee injury. While maintaining the reactivity and robustness of the Attack series, this binding features an adjustable jaw and heel that can be adapted to a wide range of sole lengths from 259 mm to 386 mm. Skiers can rely on this binding in all situations.

No matter what type of ski boot you wear, the Attack Protector is a MULTINORM binding and fully compatible with all models! Whether alpine ski boots with alpine or GripWalk soles or boots with touring soles, thanks to MULTINORM this binding can be perfectly adjusted to them in seconds.
Thanks to the FR PRO3 jaw and the AFS metal MN, the binding is compatible with adult alpine ski boots (ISO 5355 TYPE A), adult walk ski boots (ISO 23223 TYPE A) and all touring ski boots (ISO 9523). Optimum height adjustment must be carried out with a test strip in order to adjust the boot-binding system precisely and achieve optimum performance on skis.
