Thanks to the 3-antenna system, the Tracker S avalanche transceiver is equipped with excellent transmission and search performance. The updated version (23/24) is easier to handle, smaller and more user-friendly - making it super intuitive to use even for "non-professionals"!
In contrast to the Tracker 4 and Tracker 3+ devices, it does not have an automatic switching function and does not need to be updated - again, a minus in terms of functions, but a big plus in terms of easy and reliable operation for beginners who still want to be on the move with maximum safety.
It is supplied with a practical holster and batteries and is ready for immediate use. The display of direction, distance etc. is clear and easy to understand.
Marking of multiple victims
If multiple victims have been buried, pictograms of multiple people are displayed and correspond to the signals of each victim's respective avalanche transceiver. Once the first person has been detected and their position established, the function allows the next person to be searched for while the other rescuers take care of digging out and recovering the first victim.
Signal Suppression
This function is useful when several people have been buried under an avalanche. If it is not possible to turn off the signal of the first victim you found, signal suppression allows you to focus on the weaker signal of the second victim.
Large screen display
This mode provides an overall view of all avalanche beacons in a search area, as well as the approximate direction in which they are located. However, for a more detailed search, especially near the victim, you should use the normal search mode.
