Its innovative PERTEX® QUANTUM DIAMOND FUSE outer fabric is made from a tightly woven, diamond-shaped yarn of 100% recycled polyamide and is WINDPROOF, WATERPROOF, BREATHABLE and exceptionally ROBUST.
The active, ergonomic and casual cut ensures maximum FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT.
To combat the icy air on the mountain, the jackets and waistcoats are equipped with a high collar and elastic inserts at the cuffs and armholes.
Of course, the SWISSWOOL PIZ VIAL line is also CLIMANEUTRAL and PFC-FREE.
PERTEX® QUANTUM: Thanks to its particularly tight weave construction, PERTEX® QUANTUM is extremely windproof and abrasion-resistant. At the same time, the material remains light and soft. Made from recycled polyamide, PERTEX® QUANTUM is a sustainable fabric.
SWISSWOOL® offers excellent thermal properties and optimum climate comfort.
In addition to high functionality, SWISSWOOL® is characterized by its regional origin and sustainable production and processing.

About Ortovox SWISSWOOL...
The virgin wool we use for the loden is produced locally in Switzerland. SWISSWOOL has set up collection stations specifically for this purpose in many Swiss Alpine valleys, some of which are very remote, guaranteeing a fair price for raw wool. This has led to a revival in sheep farming and wool production, which are often quite unprofitable. After the raw wool has been weighed, it is washed and then processed. ORTOVOX then provides the unique design and functionality during the manufacture of the end product.
