The PIZ BADUS jacket is a lightweight insulation jacket as an additional layer for particularly cold days when freeriding, ski touring or piste days.
With the SWISSWOOL PIZ BADUS JACKET, it's hot in every couloir, no matter how racy!
Or even: at après-ski or on days when you just want to wear your "ski look" and don't want to do without your favourite ORTOVOX piece!
The outer layer of the lightweight insulated jacket is made of quilted, elastic, breathable, and wind-resistant TEC STRETCH material, while a 70 g/m2 lightweight, functional SWISSWOOL lining on the inside keeps you warm without restricting your freedom of movement.
The HIGH-REACH-PERFORMANCE FIT with ergonomic sleeve shape and side inserts made of elastic MERINO FLEECE ensures an IDEAL FIT FOR EVERY MOVEMENT, while the pre-adjusted hood offers additional protection.
The SWISSWOOL PIZ BADUS JACKET also scores highly in terms of sustainability: recycled polyester is used in addition to wool. The insulated jacket is also completely PFC-FREE, CLIMATE-NEUTRAL and MADE IN EUROPE.

The virgin wool we use for the loden is produced locally in Switzerland. SWISSWOOL has set up collection stations specifically for this purpose in many Swiss Alpine valleys, some of which are very remote, guaranteeing a fair price for raw wool. This has led to a revival in sheep farming and wool production, which are often quite unprofitable. After the raw wool has been weighed, it is washed and then processed. ORTOVOX then provides the unique design and functionality during the manufacture of the end product.
