On alpine adventures our equipment must be lightweight but also warm and functional. The FLEECE LIGHT GRID line for women is thus the ideal companion in the mountains and provides insulation, ventilation and comfort combined with light weight and a small pack size.
Thanks to the channel structure on the inside, the FLEECE LIGHT GRID HOODED JACKET for women is particularly light and offers plenty of insulation in chilly temperatures. The fine Tasmanian merino wool lining is very comfortable and will regulate moisture and temperature.
The ergonomic cut of the FLEECE LIGHT GRID HOODED JACKET for women offers optimum freedom of movement in the mountains, while the single-layer hood provides protection against the wind and is thin enough to fit under a helmet. Thumb loops help you keep comfortably warm when things get chilly. Thanks to the small topo pocket on the chest, the right route is always close at hand. The full-length zipper makes the hoody quick and easy to put on and take off, even if you’re wearing a helmet.

Über Merinowolle....
Seit 1995 ist Merinowolle fester Bestandteil der Mountainwear von ORTOVOX. Wolle ist von Natur aus ökologisch und daher besonders nachhaltig. Die Merinowolle stammt von glücklichen Schafen aus kontrollierter, artgerechter Tierhaltung, die regelmäßig kontrolliert wird. Aufgrund ihres geringen Faserdurchmessers ist Merinowolle extrem weich und angenehm auf der Haut. Sie sorgt für ein optimales Körperklima, da sie feuchtigkeits- und temperaturregulierend ist und neutralisiert zudem unangenehme Gerüche.
Die Wolle in diesem Produkt ist nach dem ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE für faire Wolle geprüft.
Merino Wolle besitzt einige Eigenschaften, die sie für den Wintersport, den Skitouren, den Outdoor und Reisebereich so attraktiv macht:
- Da Wollwaren (bezogen auf ihr Gesamtvolumen) aus bis zu 85 % Luft bestehen, wärmen sie gut.
- Sie kann im Faserinneren Wasserdampf aufnehmen, die Oberfläche stößt Wasser jedoch ab. Sie kann bis zu 33 % ihres Trockengewichtes an Wasser aufnehmen, ohne sich feucht anzufühlen, sie leitet Feuchtigkeit wesentlich schneller ab als z.B. die viel verwendete Baumwolle.
- Merino Wolle nimmt Schmutz schlecht an, knittert kaum, da die Faser sehr elastisch ist.
- Merino Wolle nimmt im Gegensatz zu Kunstfasern wenig Schweißgeruch an.
