A real hardshell jacket for all sports "outdoors" - skiing, ski touring, climbing or simply: sports outdoors in nature!
Whether on icy north faces, during stormy ascents or severe snowfall on the summit – the ORTLER jacket and pants are the LIGHTWEIGHTS for Alpinists! For the MERINO NAKED SHEEP line ortovox concentrated on the ESSENTIALS.
LOW WEIGHT, PROTECTION and COMFORT. The products in this line are light but also robust and comfortable.
Just like the naked sheep, here merino wool takes a back seat and is only used in certain areas for increased comfort.

You’ll never want to take this 3-layer hardshell off again!
The ORTLER jacket for men provides protection in any weather, for any activity – and is still unbelievably light (380 grams, women’s size M) and comfortable to wear. The outer material is completely wind and waterproof thanks to the DERMIZAX®NX membrane, arguably the highest-performance membrane on the market, without compromising on breathability or freedom of movement!
As far as features go, ortovox has focused on the important things: The hardshell jacket has a two-way zipper for an optimal fit – even with a climbing harness.
A two-way zipper in the underarm area provides cooling during sweat-inducing climbs.
Merino mesh inserts around the chin and the 2-way adjustable storm hood offer comfort and protection in rain, snow or icy conditions.
And thanks to the intense colors, you’ll be highly visible with the ORTLER 3L hardshell, even in alpine terrain!

Since 1995, merino wool has been an integral component of ORTOVOX’s mountainwear. The ORTOVOX merino wool comes from happy sheep reared on monitored, ethical sheep farms. The wool is naturally ecological and therefore super sustainable. Thanks to the small-diameter fibers in its fine woolen threads, merino wool feels extremely soft and comfortable on the skin.  In addition to comfort, merino wool also provides an ideal personal body climate by regulating both moisture and temperature. It is also easy to care for and, thanks to its antibacterial effect, odor neutralizing.
