• Material: 3-layer Cutan laminate
  50% Ultramid® Bio-Mass Balanced Polyamide, 50% Polyamide, 40D, 134 g/m²
  Cutan® Super Strech consists of three layers: an inner layer of polyamide, a waterproof polyurethane membrane in the middle layer and an outer material of polyamide and stretch. The three layers are laminated into one material. The end product is soft and flexible, offers great stretch properties - and the water repellency comes without fluorocarbon.

  PFC Free DWR Treatment! Typically, fluorocarbons are used in DWR. They are effective when it comes to water, dirt or grease protection. However, they also disrupt hormone balance and can affect the ability of mammals to procreate.
  Klättermusen has been working on finding alternatives to the standard process since 2004. They were the first outdoor brand to completely remove PFOA from all waterproof/breathable products in 2008. All materials are now completely fluorocarbon free.

• Duracoat reinforcements on the shoulders to prevent abrasion from backpacks and climbing harnesses without increasing the weight.
  Duracoat is a unique surface treatment that Klättermusen developed itself to make the material particularly abrasion-resistant in exposed areas. Duracoat makes the material five times more durable on shoulders and elbows, for example. The coating is soft and flexible, as no additional seams or layers of material are needed.
