• Material: 3-layer Oculus made from 100% recycled polyester and Cutan laminate.
  Oculus® is the collective term for all polyester fabrics that meet the strict sustainability and quality requirements of Klätteermusen. These fabrics may contain a blend of polyester or spandex to achieve the desired quality.
  Polyester absorbs hardly any water, offers high abrasion and tensile strength and does not crease. This makes the fabric perfect for outdoor backpacks and clothing.
  Cutan® Super Strech consists of three layers: an inner layer of polyamide, a waterproof polyurethane membrane in the middle layer and an outer material of polyamide and stretch. The three layers are laminated into one material. The end product is soft and flexible, offers great stretch properties - and the water repellency comes without fluorocarbon.

• Duracoat reinforcements on shoulder, hips and underarms to withstand sharp surfaces and abrasion from equipment without adding weight.
  Duracoat is a unique surface treatment that Klättermusen has developed itself to make the material particularly abrasion-resistant in exposed areas. Duracoat makes the material five times more durable on the shoulders and elbows, for example. The coating is soft and flexible, as no additional seams or layers of material are needed
• The jacket has pre-shaped elbows and is designed to stay in place even when the arms are stretched upwards
• The 3D adjustable hood is designed to follow the movements of the head precisely and not obscure the field of vision
• Slanted two-way front zip for easy access and ventilation, with storm flap and Velcro closure for added protection
• Toggle button and front D-ring serve as a second closure option when the zip fails

• Ventilation zips under the arms run at an angle for easy operation

EQUIPMENT FOR "OUTDOORS" that is useful, extremely durable and sustainable in terms of design and materials - that is Klättermusen's motto - and our Sport65 team was immediately impressed - because the style, durability and function, which is paramount, is exceptional.

Great importance is also attached to sustainability here - a topic that is, as always, very important to us and which we always try to pay extreme attention to.
For example, a new collection is not launched every season - what is good and works: Is not changed.
The company is not a "big player", nor does it want to be - just like our philosophy - here the greatest attention is paid to a good and cooperative partnership between manufacturer, retailer and you as the end consumer - and the whole thing is not driven to the utmost "profit".

We have very good contact with Klättermusen's management because Gonz Ferrero, the CEO, is himself a more than enthusiastic winter sports enthusiast and spent a week in Turkey with Holger in March 2023 on a "journey of discovery".
And Holger discovered this great brand and tested it extensively where it belongs: out in the snow, in wind, weather and storms.
