Die Idee...

Wohin es da gehen wird? Wissen wir noch nicht!
Was wir aber wissen: In den letzten Jahren war es gerade im Mai noch super von der Schneelage - und eigentlich total schade, dass wir das in unserem Programm nicht genutzt haben.
Es ist absolut nichts mehr los in den Bergen, man ist alleine unterwegs und kann wirkllich danach die Ski total befriedigt "einsommern".
Deshalb haben wir entscheiden: Für eine kleine Freeridegruppe diesen Termin anzubieten - denn praktischerweise ist der Donnerstag auch noch ein Feiertag und der Termin bietet sich an.
Natürlich schauen wir, dass wir eines der Gebiete (wie hier in den Skigebieten beschrieben) anzusteuern, in dem die Bahnen uns noch so weit hoch wie möglich bringen - evtl. planen wir dann auch die ein oder andere Hüttenübernachtung mit ein. Infos dazu kommen dann vor der Reise, hier müssen wir Wetter- und Schneelage kurzfristig abwarten - daher findet ihr zwar eine Beschreibung der Unterkunft, diese wird aber u.U. etwas anders aussehen (die Leistungen bleiben aber gleich!).

Aber ansonsten gilt natürlich wie immer bei unseren Follow the Snow! Reisen:

Ein fixer Termin, eine flexible Region und unbestimmte und flexible Skigebiete - das ist die Devise für unserere einzigartigen Follow the Snow! Camps.
Je nach Schnee- und Wettervorhersage entscheiden wir kurzfristig, wo es hingehen soll.
Ca. 4-10 Tage vor Reisebeginn teilen wir dir dann die Reisedestination, die Adresse und Lage unserer Unterkunft mit, wo und wann wir uns treffen.
Mehr Flexibilität? Geht nicht!

Also - sei gerne mit uns am Start, wenn wir den Winter einfach nochmals ein Stückchen verlängern - und unter uns gesagt: Das ist die absolut schönste Zeit in den Alpen...

Information for the Freetouring & Adventure Skicamps:

It's the combination of freeride and touring. Enjoying a nice ascent while hiking between 600 to 1200 meters in altitude a day with panoramic views in a beautiful landscape with a long and thrilling run trough firn or powder to end the day. That's what we call freetouring! But: If there is fresh powder all over the place we will not be wasting it and ski before we hike.
You will neither need ultra light gear nor the big freeride boys with 120mm underfoot for this camp.

Your expectations...

• Getting away from the crowded resorts, hiking to remote places with stunning views, beautiful mountain ranges and breath taking decents to end the day...thats what you can expect on a Sport65 freetouring camp...
• Skiing in secret spots that you normally do not find or reach.
• Size of the group :
  Only 5-6 participants per mountain guide and safety guide!
  Thats two guides per group!
  Important: Please read the trip description, of the safety guide is mentioned there!

Your requirements...

• Fitness level: HIGH
  - Personal fitness is mandatory, only this way you can stay concentrated and safe!
  - We are olny skiing in the slack- and backcountry in high alpine mountains.
  - Hikes from 200 to 500 meters vertical possible.
• Skiing skills:
  - Experienced skiers off piste skiing all kind of terrain fluently with very good technique
• Previous knowledge:
  - Already spent some time off piste.
  - In the best case you have already joined one of our freeride camps before. So we can guarantee you the most of fun!
  - Experience in: Hiking with skins
  - Handling avalanche safety gear, further trainings will get done during the camp.
  - Experience in rappelling is not mandatory, if needed our guides will show you how to.
• Equipment:
  - Light Freetouringskis (85-105mm ) under foot mounted with touring bindings as well as skins and crmapons are mandatory.
  - Ideally your binding is a pin tech binding like the Marker Kingpin or comparable Dynafit bindings.
  - Ski touring boots are mandatory
  - The full avalanche equipment (shovel, probe, beacon).
  - Helmet is recommended but not mandatory
  - Ideally: Shell Layering to adjust to the weather
  - Ski goggles, sunglasses, spare gloves, beanie, buff, etc.
  - An airbag bagpack is recommended but not mandatory
  - INFO: If you need to rent any of this, no problem! Let us know in the booking form.
• Important: For this kind of camp you need to be open for new things, other cultures, countries or different hospitality.
  Some of our freerouring destinations are located in the alps, our accomodation is quite basic (huts, lodges, bunks, etc.)
  You should be aware that european or american standards are not the same as in most other countries around the world (Hotels, ski resorts, transportation, food, etc.).
• Snowboarder: Normally can not participate on an Freetouring Camp, because skiers and snowboardes are moving to different in the backcountry.
  But: If you are a a very skilled Splitboarder with experience in Hiking with skins or if you are a mixed group we can organize a camp for you!

Important information, rules and parts of booking at freeride trips:

• All backcountry equipment (backpack, beacon, shovel, probe) is required.
• A ski-backpack which you can carry skis with (no mountain biking backpack).
• Helmets are compulsory for all camps!
• Important: We strongly recommend the DSV Skiversicherung (German skiing association ski-insurance) which can be issued during the booking process. .
  A ski (also a rental or testski from us) can be damaged or lost quiet easily and emergency costs are also covered with the insurance.
• On Sport 65 freeride trips the certified UIAGM mountainguides or Staatliche Ski-Instructors accept responsibility for the group.
• A remaining risk can not be fully eliminated, even with professionell guides
• An insurance which covers emergency rescue costs is up to the participant. The organizer refuses to take any responsibility. We recommend you to take out for example the DSV Skiversicherung (DSV ski insurance) - only for EU citizens.
• Only a limited number of participants can be accepted on each trip. 
• The minimum number of people on this trip is: 5 people
• Individual participants can be excluded from a tour or change groups when all requirements are not met and/or when they put themselves, the group or the mountain guides at risk.
  A lack of riding skills, fitness and/or snow is not an acceptation for refund!
• Sport65 is allowed to cancel this trip 15 days before start in case of not reaching the minium number of participants.
  Any costs for booked transfers or transportation will not be refunded by Sport65.
  If Sport65 bus journey is booked it will be refunded.
• Participants travelling by their own form of transportation take responsibility for delayed arrival.
• In addition to that the general terms and conditions shall apply. Feel free to ask for translations.
