...liegt wo? Wissen wir noch nicht genau! Was wir aber wissen: Wir bringen euch in den Schnee!
Wie? Ganz einfach!
Ein fixer Termin, eine flexible Region und unbestimmte und flexible Skigebiete - das ist die Devise für unserere einzigartigen Follow the Snow! Camps.
Je nach Schnee- und Wettervorhersage entscheiden wir kurzfristig, wo es hingehen soll.
Ca. 4-10 Tage vor Reisebeginn teilen wir dir dann die Reisedestination, die Adresse und Lage unserer Unterkunft mit, wo und wann wir uns treffen.
Mehr Flexibilität? Geht nicht!
Mögliche Zielgebiete erstrecken sich von Österreich über die Schweiz bis nach Italien oder auch Frankreich, natürlich suchen wir zuerst nicht zu weit weg von Deutschland, sodass eure Anfahrt nicht zu lange wird - aber für richtig gute Verhältnisse lohnt es sich manchmal, auch etwas länger anzureisen...
Als Reiseveranstalter mit über 30 Jahren Erfahrung gelingt es uns in der Regel gute Unterkünfte auch kurzfristig zu finden - aber hier geht es einzig und allein um die Lage des Hotels/Pension - denn wir wollen so kurzfristig wie möglich buchen können.
Die Unterkunft wird strategisch so liegen, dass wir die umliegenden Freeride Gebiete innerhalb 15-60 Minuten am Morgen anfahren können und am Abend direkt dort, oder in der Unterkunft essen gehen können.
In welches der umliegenden Skigebiete wir dann an den jeweiligen Tagen zum Skifahren gehen, entscheiden wir mit den Bergführern dann immer sehr kurzfristig und eben so spontan es geht. Gemäss: Dem besten Schnee auf der Spur!
Natürlich können wir hier keine 100%ige "Powdergarantie" geben, aber wir tun unser Bestes dafür und werden definitiv an deinem gebuchten Termin das Beste aus den gerade gegebenen Verhältnissen machen können, so, dass wir eben #righttimerightplace sind...
Information for the Sport65 Follow the Snow! Camps:
Frist and foremost: flexibility!
We will decide where to go in short terms to guarantee the best conditions possible.
Note: We try our best but we can not influence the wheater. At least not yet...Therefore even on a Follow the Snow! Camp we can not give a powder guarantee but as already said we keep doing our best..
Your expectations...
- Experience new untouched terrain and lost valleys accompanied by a UIAGM mountain guide and Sport65 Safety guide. On the hunt for fresh snow, but always with a maximum in safety!
- Short hikes with skins are common, ranging from 20 minutes up to two hours. Depending on strength and ability of the group and first and foremost the snow conditions. If there is fresh powder next to the lifts, we will not start hiking past it. No worries!
Hikes are not seen as a "Skitour" in the end they are only means to an end to reach nice runs and get away from the hustle in the ski resort. Thats why we travel to the destination with the most promising conditions :) - If needed we will do some rappelling as well to reach couloirs and untouched faces.
- But: No worries as already mentioned we are not hiking, skinning or climbing for fun...it's all about the descent!
- More over the mountaing guides teach you how to read a mountain and raise the awareness of alpine hazards and how to handle them.
- You are flexible and the perfect conditions are more important to you then a luxurious accomondation.
Then you found the right trip- untracked faces, deep powder or perfect firn conditions are what we are looking for! - Size of the group :
Only 5-6 participants per mountain guide and safety guide!
Thats two guides per group!

Your requirements...
- Fitness level: MEDIUM to HIGH
- Personal fitness is mandatory, only this way you can stay concentrated and safe!
- We are olny skiing in the slack- and backcountry in high alpine mountains.
- Hikes from 200 to 500 meters vertical possible. - Skiing skills:
- Experienced skiers off piste skiing all kind of terrain fluently with very good technique - Previous knowledge:
- Already spent some time off piste.
- In the best case you have already joined one of our freeride camps before. So we can guarantee you the most of fun!
- Experience in: Hiking with skins
- Handling avalanche safety gear, further trainings will get done during the camp.
- Experience in rappelling is not mandatory, if needed our guides will show you how to. - Equipment:
- Freeride skis or Freetouring skis with a min. of 95-100mm under foot with touring bindings and skins.
- The full avalanche equipment (shovel, probe, beacon)., backpack
- Harness, helmet
- INFO: If you need to rent any of this, no problem! Let us know in the booking form. - Snowboarder: Normally can not participate in an Expert Camp, because skiers and snowboardes are moving too different in the backcountry.
But: If you are a a very skilled Splitboarder with experience in Hiking with skins or if you are a mixed group we can organize a camp for you!
Important information, rules and parts of booking at freeride trips:
- All backcountry equipment (backpack, beacon, shovel, probe) is required.
- A ski-backpack which you can carry skis with (no mountain biking backpack).
- Helmets are compulsory for all camps!
- Important: We strongly recommend the DSV Skiversicherung (German skiing association ski-insurance) which can be issued during the booking process. .
A ski (also a rental or testski from us) can be damaged or lost quiet easily and emergency costs are also covered with the insurance. - On Sport 65 freeride trips the certified UIAGM mountainguides or Staatliche Ski-Instructors accept responsibility for the group.
- A remaining risk can not be fully eliminated, even with professionell guides
- An insurance which covers emergency rescue costs is up to the participant. The organizer refuses to take any responsibility. We recommend you to take out for example the DSV Skiversicherung (DSV ski insurance) - only for EU citizens.
- Only a limited number of participants can be accepted on each trip.
- The minimum number of people on this trip is: 5 people
- Individual participants can be excluded from a tour or change groups when all requirements are not met and/or when they put themselves, the group or the mountain guides at risk.
A lack of riding skills, fitness and/or snow is not an acceptation for refund! - Sport65 is allowed to cancel this trip 15 days before start in case of not reaching the minium number of participants.
Any costs for booked transfers or transportation will not be refunded by Sport65.
If Sport65 bus journey is booked it will be refunded. - Participants travelling by their own form of transportation take responsibility for delayed arrival.

Important information about included and extra services:
- All services are included in the travel price.
- Extras are not included and must be paid at your destination or will be added in the booking form.
Please remember to bring cash to be ready for unpaid extras. - Lift tickets: If lift tickets are not included in the price, Sport65 is in charge of providing you with lift tickets we advise that we do not take responsibility for terms and rules of the lift companys.
In case that we get free tickets we need them for our guides and staff. Special rates do not need to be forwarded to the customer.
Booking of lift tickets is mandatory.
Exception: Holders of season tickets or interconnection tickets (like Tirol Snowcard,...) must not buy tickets and can use their own ticket.
Please note this during the booking procedure. - Additional costs for transportation during the trip (bus, train, taxi/cab rides) which are not already included have to be paid extra.
- Visitor's tax: Will be added in the booking process and paid seperatly from Sport65 to the hotel.
If not: Visitors taxes are not included in the travel price and will get charged directly by the accomodation to you. - Drinks and additional food (which is not included in the service) have to be paid extra.

Private lessons for novices can be booked on request.
Group lessons: 2 days á 2x2 hr.: 79,00 EUR

Private lessons: 39,00 EUR/hr. every additional person 19,00 EUR/hr.

Cancellation of a formal and confirmed reservation has to be done by email and will effect the following terms:
Until the 15th day before pick up date 10,00 EUR
Until the 3rd day before pick up date 20,00 EUR
If the gear did not get picked up on the stated day in the reservation sheet the cancellation fee of 80% of the quoted price will get charged. We will process an invoice automtically and send it to the renter. Refusal of the payment will get pursued by law. - Please pay attention to our terms! They are mandatory with each booking.

Du kannst selbst anreisen oder die Anreise mit unserem Van buchen (sofern diese noch im Buchungsformular auswählbar ist!).

Vor Ort kannst du mit den Sport65 Shuttles vom Hotel/Pension mit in die Skigebiete fahren!
Sport65 #travelsafe concept: We want to get you to the snow as safely and comfortably as possible!We want to bring you also in the next season as safe and comfortable as possible in the snow!
In the sense of many of our travel guests and employees then take effect in the winter season for our trips with bus arrival or the Sport65 Shuttle the regulations prescribed by law at the time of travel.
But: If we are not allowed (or do not want) to use the Sport65 shuttle or coach due to the Covid-19 regulations, we will of course inform you accordingly in advance.
You don't have to miss the days in the snow, but you can change your booking to a self-drive.
The difference of the travel price will be refunded of course!

- Abfahrtsort: Unser Abfahrtsort ist direkt beim Sport65 Shop in Weinheim.

- Check-In Zeit: Freitag auf Samstag Nacht ab 02.45 Uhr an der Ortovox Pow(d)erbar im Sport65 Shop.
Parkmöglichkeiten für eure Autos sind dort vorhanden, Parkgebühren siehe unten.
Du kannst natürlich im Shop noch Einkäufe erledigen, solltest du noch etwas für deine Reise mit uns benötigen.
Solltest du in deiner Buchung Mietmaterial bestellt haben, kannst du dieses beim Einchecken im Sport65 Miet & Testcenter aussuchen, anprobieren und einstellen lassen.
Es wird dann direkt in den Van verladen.

Special rates for Sport65 customers:

The regulations and house rules from the parking lot owner are applicable.
- Sport65 is allowed to cancel this trip 15 days before start in case of not reaching the minium number of participants.

Your are a group of 10 people and would like to book a pick up and ride to our destination of departure? Let us know and we will give you a ride in our Van for an extra charge. Frankfurt, Mainz, Wiesbaden, Darmstadt... - In case you chose Self-arrival travel you will be responsible for the late arrival, if it is not represented by Sport65.
A claim for damages for non-preserved benefits does not arise from it. - If you choose self arrival we do not guarantee a free seat in our bus or shuttle for transfers to the ski resorts.

The charming, cosy Hotels for the Sport65 Follow the Snow! trips will be booked 4-10 days ahead of your trip to guarantee the most flexibility concerning your destination.
Goal of this trip is: Finding the best snow, the best freeride spot in the alps.
Important: If your hotel and the achievements of the hotel is very inmportant for you please do not book a trip like this, because we can not guarantee the quality of the hotel or particular facilities in the hotel. What counts on this concept is: Flexibility!

What can you say to this? In the Swiss Alps there are some freeride areas that we have been offering for years. Why? Because for our (and our guests') taste they are among the best you can find anywhere in the world! Whether it's the small pearls like Lötschental, Zinal, the Haldigrat, Disentis or the small areas in the Bernese Oberland or the international top spots like Zermatt, Davos, St. Moritz, Verbier, Flims-Laax or Lenzerheide: There's always something going on here under the right conditions!

Freeriding in Austria: From Salzburgerland to Tyrol...
One thing should be clear: If the Coronalage allows it, Austria is of course one of the spots on the world map that stands out for freeriding and touring!
Last but not least the local knowledge of our guides and our decades of experience are the key to your freeriding fun.
Whether on the Kitzsteinhorn or in Saalbach in the Salzburgerland, on the Grossglockner or of course around the Inn Valley with its glacier areas or the legendary Arlberg: Here we find a huge freeride playground from early to late winter or in spring and lots of small, cosy accommodations from which we can react to weather and snow conditions every day.
Of course we will also take into account the current coronal situation and select areas from which we expect safe freeriding in addition to snow conditions.

Freeride á l´italiano: Ein Traum auf der Südseite der Alpen!
