The new Patrol with the new Alpride E2 system!
The SCOTT Patrol E2 is a state-of-the-art avalanche backpack with the latest Alpride E2 system integrated.
It is more durable thanks to Cordura® Ripstop fabric, optimised gear attachment solutions and special pockets and compartments for different gear have also been considered. With 30 litres of packing volume, it is also the ideal freeride backpack with enough space inside.
This is also ensured by the new Alpride E2 airbag system. The electronic system is smaller and lighter than its predecessor, the E1. This means more storage space in the backpack and less weight to shoulder when covering extra metres in altitude for the best snow.
The next generation supercapacitor technology features a slimmer design that doesn't weigh a gram too much.
The fully electric airbag system pushes the boundaries of innovation thanks to super-functioning supercapacitor technology.
It is one of the lightest airbag systems on the market and convinced us completely.

The Story

SCOTT and Sport65...
...that's been a great love affair since the legendary US brand came onto the market with the first wide skis at the beginning of the 2000s.
Holger and Jürgen made their first "freeride turns" with the Aztec after their boarder career and since then SCOTT skis have had a permanent place in the Sport65 ski wall...
Although SCOTT is now primarily regarded as the world market leader in high-end bicycles, the origin of the brand is winter sports:
Ed Scott's love of skiing and lifelong love of tinkering and invention were to have a lasting influence on the sport. The ski racer, who lived in Sun Valley (Idaho), developed his most famous creation as early as 1958 - the revolutionary SCOTT ski pole made of aluminium, which immediately replaced the previous poles made of bamboo and steel.
Today, in addition to bikes and accessories, SCOTT also offers very good, sporty running shoes, clothing and, since 2013, ski boots. The legendary freeride and touring brand Garmont was taken over and its portfolio constantly improved, optimised and adapted to the current demands of freeriders and tourers.
In the winter sports sector, SCOTT is exclusively at home in backcounty, freetouring, touring skis and of course freeride. There is no racing here.
